The first Wyboston Community Centre was known as "The Hut" , it stood until it was replaced by the new village hall in 1992.

The former hall was a centre of activity in its LSA (Land Settlement Association) days, with whist drives, weddings, meetings of the W.I., the Wyboston Football and Cricket Club and a Youth Club with a very strong football team.

The building of the new village hall was made possible by the sale of the land on which 2 houses were built.

A village playing field used to be opposite the ex-council houses where many a football match took place between Roxton and Wyboston.
